- Coloured Chocolate
Did you know that we can coordinate the chocolate to your colour scheme? No matter if your theme is pink and black or green and yellow, we can colour the chocolate to suit your scheme.
Our chocolate fountain looks magical when colour coordinating the chocolate with your event.
How do we change the colour?
Using white chocolate in the fountain, we slowly begin to add the oil based colour to the chocolate once it has melted. It mixes into the chocolate as it circulates through the machine. We can change the hue of the colour by simply adding less or adding more colouring into the chocolate. So if you were after a pale green coloured chocolate, then we would only add a few drops of green into the chocolate as opposed to adding several drops for a vibrant, dark green and so on.
We use the highest quality white chocolate when colouring chocolate. Obviously, if you choose to have both side of the chocolate fountain being coloured chocolate, then they will both be white chocolate as the base as you can not colour the milk or dark chocolate. So depending on you taste for chocolate, you will need to keep this in mind when choosing what chocolate to have and whether you want to colour one side of the chocolate fountain or both sides of the chocolate fountain.
You can choose to have both sides of the chocolate fountain to be custom coloured chocolate or have one side coloured and the other side dark or milk….the choices are all up to you. Either way, this chocolate fountain will taste better than it looks and will leave your friends and family with sweet memories of your wedding or event.
Chocolate is quite decadent in and of itself, and it can be an even more pleasant experience with a chocolate fondue. But not many people have considered the option of having coloured chocolate at their wedding. Blue, pink, green: the options are limitless, and can certainly add a bright splash of colour to any room. When considered a chocolate fountain hire, inquire on whether coloured chocolate can be use with it.
When it comes to coloured chocolate, there are a variety of ways to add these bright, refreshing colours to one of the most popular desserts in the history of sweets. Gels, food colouring, dyes and powders are just a few of the options. However, not all of them generate the same results. When it comes to making your chocolate bright and colourful, oil-based colouring is definitely the way to go. It's thick, rich and binds with the chocolate itself in order to create a rich hue that won't fade. And you don't need a lot to dye a batch of white chocolate either. Just a few drops are enough to take care of everything.
Using a water-based dye might seem like a good idea, as they're more fluid to be used, but using a water based dye to create coloured chocolate is not advised. It can actually lead to your chocolate being ruined, and that's not now you want your wedding or special day to be remembered. Instead, we use only the best oil-based dyes to coordinate your chocolate with the colours of your wedding so that everything can match. Whether you're planning to use it in a water fountain or you want to create a goody bag of chocolates for your guests to take home, having coloured chocolate can make all the difference.
Your chocolate doesn't have to be only one colour either. With some talent and patience, beautiful marbled effects can be created to memorialise the occasion. After all, what better way to remember your wedding day than with the sweet gift of chocolate? You and your guests will appreciate the colourful sweet treat of a chocolate fondue, and you'll be able to dip all of your favourite foods - cake, strawberries, bananas, blueberries, et cetera - into a fountain of colourful chocolate.
Consider the benefits that coloured chocolate can add to your wedding. Your guests will be amazed by the colour being added to the room with a chocolate room. Or if you're feeling daring, spring for two or three chocolate fountain hire and have each one be a different colour. There are no limitations on what you can do with coloured chocolate, and we aim to provide you with only the best quality chocolate that you deserve.
